水煎服，轻症每日1剂，重症每日2剂，每剂2煎。
清热解毒，排脓消肿，化淤散结。
适用于急性阑尾炎的郁滞期、蕴热期、毒热期，不包括急性阑尾炎穿孔并发弥漫性腹膜炎者。
本方以清热解毒、排脓消肿为重点，但散结与一般方剂不同，用郁李仁而不用大黄。方中以红藤、金银花、紫花地丁、牡丹皮来清热解毒凉血。重用冬瓜仁、薏苡仁、败酱草、皂角排脓消肿。佐桃仁活血化淤，并以菖蒲的辛温开郁止痛。
另外，病情较重的患者可以配合针灸治疗和外敷法。
1针灸疗法
针刺阑尾穴（双侧），用泻法深刺之，运针一二十分钟，接电针机半小时，再留针1小时。每天1次，连刺3天。此点多有压痛，进针时须刺在痛点上。如果效果不佳，可以再强刺激足三里。有发烧、恶心、呕吐者加曲池、合谷、内庭等。每日针2～3次，至症状消失。体质较差、病情较轻的，宜用较弱刺激。
2外敷法
三黄散外敷。用蜂蜜适量加水调匀，敷患处，药干即换。
健康提示
阑尾炎是以转移性右下腹疼痛为主要症状的阑尾炎性病变，多发生于青壮年。
